Stress and overwhelm can become your baseline. Over time, this can show up as tension, fatigue, restlessness, overthinking, and a sense of disconnection from yourself.
I offer a body-based coaching space where you can settle stress, regain clarity of what you want out of your life and career, and reconnect with what feels meaningful—so your life becomes more sustainable, pleasurable, and fulfilling.

Most of us have learned to push through using our brilliant minds and our stamina. To cope. To keep going. For the next promotion, to publish the next article or to submit a funding application.
Yet… a fulfilling career and life rarely happen through thinking alone.
Body-based coaching helps you reconnect with your internal signals—so you can make decisions, set boundaries, and take action in a way that feels steady, safe, and aligned.

The Deep Exploration is a coaching journey (typically 4 sessions over 4–8 weeks) for women who feel stuck, torn, or at a crossroads—and want clarity, direction, and grounded next steps.

Birgit
Academia and I have a long history. Working in academia gave me sublime experiences. It changed my worldview more than once and broadened my horizons.
I travelled widely, built a broad skill set, and worked with dedicated, brilliant people. I’m deeply grateful for that. And I also learned first-hand that academic careers can come with uncertainty, relentless demands, and constant pressure.
For a long time, I lived with chronic stress that showed up physically: joint pain and stiffness, nausea, migraines, sleeplessness, and social anxiety.
I tried to “fix” it through relentless discipline and constant activity. But I was deeply exhausted—and gradually lost my sense of joy and zest for life. In 2021, when I realised I was close to depletion again, I finally committed to rest, recovery, and reconnecting with my body’s sensitivity.
I became a feminine embodiment coach because I want to support women in academia and other high-pressure careers to live healthier lives. I still work in academia, but now with more ease, clearer limits, and a definition of success that is my own.

I will always respect your souvereignity. I will not tell you what to do, or give unwanted advice. My role is to hold a safe exploration space and to ask powerful questions to guide you.
My coaching is trauma-informed, but not trauma-centred. I currently offer online and face-to-face coaching in English or German.
Come as you are, you are so welcome to show up as yourself! However, you will get most out of the coaching if you bring a specific issue (or even several) to the session.
Embodiment practices help you reconnect with your body’s signals—sensations, emotions, tension, ease—so you’re not living only in your head. There are countless ways to do this, and different people are drawn to different approaches. Some practices are spiritual or ritual-based (women’s circles, tarot, moon tracking, shamanic work). Others are more secular (movement, breath, journalling, mindfulness). I’m genuinely curious about the full spectrum. But in real life—especially when you work in a demanding job and time is limited—what matters most is what you will actually do consistently.
